As part of its goal to precede the international response standard time of 6 to 8 minutes and achieve 4 minutes response time the client “Dubai Civil Defence” required a well-equipped control room with a motivated and futuristic design approach.
The interior design embraced the client's requirements and facilitated the finishes and elements elegantly and practically, with philosophy key represented in public cooperation significantly influencing Civil Defence performance, especially in determining response time.
To present the radio waves used in communication the acoustic-treated wall is formed in a way that shapes waves along the wall utilizing the gaps in between the walls to accommodate a hidden light directed away from the officers. These lights are mainly used during the operation hours.
